Wedding Inspiration Boards

One of the things Beth and I do as wedding planners is assist our clients in coming up with a vision for their event. We take their ideas or colors and create an inspiration board, which is a collection of photos and ideas that they like. Once the board is created, it helps to see how things will look together - which is especially helpful to those brides who really have trouble visualizing something without seeing it. We haven't posted our inspiration boards on our blog in the past, but we realized it might be a good thing since it can help others who might have a similar style. So here is our first posted inspiration board-- I made this one a few months ago for our clients who are getting married in September at the Safety Harbor Resort. They wanted a romantic feel with colors of the sunset, with stronger accents of reds and golds. They also have an underlying kind of old Spanish vibe to pay homage to their heritage. So take a look at their inspiration board and keep checking back for photos of their wedding next month! :)

I created this next board for one of our couples getting married in March at a beautiful country club. They knew they wanted to do pool blue as their main color with white accents, but they weren't sure what other colors would coordinate. They definitely wanted something that felt very light and bright for their spring wedding. I made them this board to show them one of their options for another accent color, which is a bright fuschia. The bride loves orchids, so I made sure they were well represented in this inspiration board.
