Sarah and Zach's Elegant Yacht Club Wedding

One of the best things about being a wedding planner is when you get to coordinate a wedding for a couple like Sarah and Zach.  The entire day, they were both stress-free and so happy - the ideal bride and groom that you can tell were just so excited to become man and wife.
The weather cleared up and gave them a beautiful wedding day at the Tampa Yacht Club on February 18th, with their ceremony overlooking the bay and their reception following in the ballroom.  Rev. Tom Greene officiated a very personal ceremony with touches of Jewish traditions such as the kiddush and the breaking of the glass under a bamboo chuppah.  The decor was classic and elegant, with pale colors of whites, ivory, peach, pale pink, and light green.  Sarah and Zach also added their own fun touches to really make the wedding represent them; their table numbers were quirky vintage animal prints and instead of a traditional wedding cake, they had an assortment of different cakes on unique platters and stands.  They also had a choreographed first dance that was one of the best I've seen and it was a total hit with their guests.  The dance floor was packed all night thanks to dj Doug Decker and everyone had a blast.  At the end of the night, the Tampa Yacht Club staff helped me execute a sparkler sendoff for the couple as they exited by boat to live happily every after.  It really did feel a bit like a fairy tale wedding, and I was so thrilled to have been a part of it.  Mr. and Mrs. Glaser, I wish you a long life and love and happiness and thank you for being such wonderful clients.

The Rainbeau Wedding

Christie and Eric met at the Lowery Park Zoo while they were both spending the day with their young children. Their wedding day proved to be just as fun as the day they met. With 40 friends and family supporting them, the new Mr. and Mrs. Rainbeau walked down the aisle fittingly to "Somewhere over the Rainbow" played on steel drums with their children by their side as they created a new, beautiful blended family at the Holiday Inn Harbourside.
They celebrated afterwards with a tropical luncheon buffet in the Hemmingway Room, complete with a rainbow wedding cake and cupcakes by Sweets by Mindy. The staff at the Holiday Inn Harbourside did an excellent job so a big thank you goes out to Elizabeth and crew. I have known Christie for a few years now and was so honored when she asked me last summer to help her plan a casual, fun, and intimate spring wedding where they could celebrate their love. I wish you both a lifetime and happiness and thank you for allowing me to put together your special day.

Best of the Knot!

We are so excited to announce that we won The Best of the Knot 2012! This is the second time we have won this award and it's a great honor especially because it is due in large part to the reviews of our wonderful clients.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting the Flawless Occasions team and allowing us to continue doing what we love for all of you.

Liz and Derek at the Vinoy

It's been way too long since we've updated the blog! Have you visited our facebook page? We are updating that much more frequently so please make sure you check us out there!

But I wanted to share this fabulous wedding we coordinated in October. Liz and Derek, their families, and all of their almost 200 guests traveled to St. Pete from all over the U.S. for this huge destination wedding. I worked mostly with Liz's mom, Maggie, and she was just a pleasure to plan with from afar. I would describe their style as tropical elegance, and their wonderful team of vendors helped pull off a fantastic wedding. Thanks especially to Debbie with The Brides' Bouquet and Craig from Grant Hemond and Associates.

These beautiful photos were taken by photographer Brian C. Idocks. Enjoy!!
